Hello,
I started Lossiemouth Limited with a simple idea: to build a company that can grow carefully, one useful thing at a time. We are at the very beginning of that journey, and I think it is worth being honest about that.
Lossiemouth Limited is a technology company incorporated in England and Wales on 16 October 2026. Our company number is 17525168. At present, we have one brand: BitByBash, a web hosting provider. In time, I hope to explore other areas of technology too, but only when we are ready. There is no rush. We intend to take deliberate baby steps, learn as we go, and do the work properly.
The name Lossiemouth comes from my great-grandfather, who came from Lossiemouth, a coastal town in Moray, Scotland. It has two sandy beaches and looks out over the Moray Firth. I have always liked its quiet character: a place with room to breathe, and a particular closeness to the sea. It is sometimes called the “jewel of the Moray Firth”, which feels like a generous description of a very special place.
There is a small irony in the name. The place that inspired us is in Scotland, while the company itself is incorporated in England and Wales. Both things are true, and I am glad the name carries that family connection with it.
Lossiemouth Limited should not be confused with the town itself. We are a small company named in its honour, not a representative of the community or place.
For now, we will keep building steadily, look after the things we have started, and see where careful work takes us. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
